Mod making is on HIATUS!
I had to take Morris to the vet last week because he had a sudden, big lump on his neck. It felt like filled with body fluids. After punctuating, my vet sadly felt something and referred me to a vet clinic. Under the microscope, they spotted suspicious cells in the wound fluid.
Yesterday he got a CT under anesthesia, and it's indeed a massive mass in his neck. I am sorry to disappoint people, don’t know when the mods get continued, I don't feel like being creative. I don't feel much like anything tbh. He got a biopsy yesterday, too, and now I wait if it’s malign or benign. If he goes palliative or if surgery is an option.
Update 30th August:
It's a Fibrosarcoma, which is a malignant cancer. Morris is officially palliative. Monday removal of the stitches and an estimate of lifespan and discussing the palliative care plan.
My heart is broken.
I'm sorry to read this, I sincerely wish for you to enjoy the rest of the time you have with him, and for Morris to have a peaceful passing when the time comes(I know it hurts a lot, I've lost some of my own dear pets). Always remember that he felt the love you gave to him and that he appreciated being taken into a safe and loving family. Take as much time off as needed, spending time with loved ones is far more important. - MorningsDawn
