MOD PUBLISH moves to PATREON (free)

Moving to Patreon!

Publishing anything through the Blogger format is very tedious, and I have avoided publishing on my blog for a long while. It's mainly uploading images and formatting the text that is tedious, and I dread it. I went back to Nexus, which just increased harassment. At the end of 2025, publishing several CotR NPC replacers was a turning point for me after 7 years of regular harassment for my NPCs over my Bloq, Nexus and Discord from people in the community. My love and wish to share publicly finally got smothered. So from now on mods will be published over my Patreon only. All content will be free, but you need to be a free member. I will try Patreon, I can't promise, though, it'll work. If I still get harassed, if it still smothers my joy in any shape or form regarding mod making, I will stop publishing mods again. My mods can be found on: LeelooMinai's Modding Corner (here) Nexus Mods It's worth checking out both sites because mods that are on my blog aren't on...

LM's Vanilla Hair Retex SSE

Retex made from scratch, covers all straight vanilla hair textures.

Is going to change beards, too. Because the shaved texture for the scalp get's applied to the shaved beard, too.

Sadly HairTG - Cards/Surface doesn't support tiled textures. So I can't make anything for the curly hair. Which, ngl kind of upsets me. But I am accepting it for now. I already reached out to Olivier Lau the creator of the HairTG tools and asked. He looks into it but can't promise anything. Which is already super amazing that he does that. If my health and energy allows it I look into Blender's Hair Tool. But that's another thing to learn from scratch and I am tired. I rather focus on what I can do. And that would be continuing KS Hair Retex and Eyes.

I have tried to ensure this works with all vanilla texture based meshes.

For testing I used:

  • Low Poly Vanilla Meshes

For the screenshots I used High Poly Vanilla Hair, Vanilla Hair remake and High Poly Head's
meshes.

Applications used:

Info:

The only textures that actually getting used ingame are hairlong, hairlongsnowelf, hairshort, hairshort_old, shaved and HairOrc1. Hairlong_old and Hairfrizzy can be used for cut content. Some really cute hairstyles, that are as well covered by High Poly Head's
hair meshes luckily.

It's not perfect because I had to adapt this to work with a lot of hairlines and meshes.
And Bethesda made UVs for cloth and wood on top of each other. I tried to make the best
of it. This was a really hard and challenging project. I don't think I can make this any better.

  • Loose textures, BC7 in 4K

  • optional Hairflow maps to be used with Hair Specular - Community Shaders
    • Install CS Hairspec flowmaps and let mine overwrite those.

  • Install with your mod manager and overwrite any conflict.

Recommmendations:

Permission:
  • You are not allowed to upload this partially or fully.
  • You are not allowed to use my assets in mods that use AI voice nor art, or when you use AI for your mod author profile, avatar or mod presentation.
It doesn't make sense that you lock your own mod publish behind permissions and have the benefit of protection of your content, but at the same time you use AI in any shape or form that was trained by stolen content from others. It seriously doesn't make any sense. And if people have no means to protect their own content to be scraped for AI training then I am doing the least I can do, and deny permissions for my own content for people who feel it's ok to use AI and use stolen content.

  • If you want to use anything from this mod ask me for permission.
